Briargate is the biggest neighborhood in school district 20 in northern Colorado Springs. Designed in the late 70′s to be a place to live and work and play – a community within a community. Today, Briargate boasts some of the best schools in the state, modest and high-end housing, wonderful shopping, restaurants, hospitals, and easy access to go south to downtown Colorado Springs or north to Monument. The Promenade Shops at Briargate are located here as well.

Briargate has several parks and open spaces perfect for hiking or walking. The two main parks are Venezia Community Park and Rampart Park. Rampart Park also has an attached dog park perfect for your furry friends. Other parks include Fairfax Park, Buckskin Charlie Park, Candleflower Park, Meadowridge, Frontier Park, Ford Frick Park, Wedgewood Park, Explorer Park, John Stone Park, and Lulu Pollard Park.
